Volkswagen Caddy 5

The Volkswagen Caddy 5 is one of the most popular models for conversion into a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV). It is a luxury and comfortable passenger car that offers seat space up to seven people. The standard set gives you the lowered floor and entrance for the wheel chair(passenger) into the car with a ramp. On top of this there are many options possible to suit your personal needs.

After launching the regular Caddy 5, Volkswagen is developing an SVO (special vehicle order) with an altered rear axle that will be better equipped to accommodate a lowered floor.

New fuel tank and exhaust system to accommodate a deep and level lowered floor
Double folding lightweight ramp with clear-view design what allows  to view through the back window
LED lights installed at ramp entrance for better visibility
Lowered floor fully covered with matching upholstery
Centre part of the rear bumper is replaced on hatch to maintain original design

Re-installation of the original bench on the second row
One or two TriflexAIR foldable swivel seats on the third row
Original parking sensors to remain functional after conversion on short wheelbase model
Foldable taxi ramp which creates a flat loading floor
